Once upon a time, I was allowed to be proud of my job, now I am told I must be grateful. I also remember a time when mediocrity was a no-no and you were told not to be a slacker, now they tell you not to take work seriously and to lighten up. People demand your time and complain when others get some of it and never take into account how little you have for yourself. There are too many contradictions in life to really keep up and in order to change with the times, I’ve realized that one must lose grip of their sanity in order to cope.
